I have been spending a lot of personal time figuring out how to discontinue my service with SeniorGlobe.

Have called billing at 425-319-5043 and never get a live person. I have left message but never receive any callbacks.

I tried calling Tech Support, who don't work for seniorglobe, and was told that their contact info was for a Jared at DialUpusa.net. He told me to email that person which I did and have not received any replies.

On my credit card is a phone number 877-469-3808 for the 12.99 charge for seniorglobe. This number goes to Ikano Comunications. The person told me to contact Seniorglobe billing at the 425 number above. I did some research and found out that DialupUSA had purchased Ikano. It is becoming a mystery to found out who owns Seniorglobe and how to contact them.

My next step is to send a certified letter to the address in the Seniorglobe Terms of Service. If that fails I will contact the credit card company and then possibly seek legal help. It shouldn't be this hard to discontinue from an ISP.

If anyone has any suggestions then please let me know. I now that I can stop payment but don't want Senrioglobe to put any marks into my credit for not paying. At least it is all documented just in case that happens.

Call the number on my credit card bill. They gave me another number to call which is 888-460-2286. This is for DIALUPUSA. They are apparently the ISP who is doing the billing. Their billing dept brought up my account and said that they would discontinue the service.

Not too sure why the senioglobe website dos not mention DIALUPUSA.

I would contact the bank with whom you have the credit card and explain to them what is going on. I would also put a stop on any more charges from Senior Globe. You can also contact the three credit bureaus and ask to put an explanatory item in your credit file. This should be the best CYA advise that I can think of. You have certainly given it your best shot. I simply stopped paying them and it worked, but I did not use a credit card, so it was easy.

Dialupusa has finally discontinued my service. Also, Jared who is the National Sales Manager, sent me an email telling me that my account had been deleted. They are also going to credit my credit card 12.99 for Aprils billing. Hopefully this will be end of my dealing with them. I am finally on higher speed internet, via DSL, which is good.

Thanks for your help.

You are right, DSL is great. I have got a $19 deal with AT&T that also allowed me to drop my land line. It is good to be finally off dial-up. I should have done this years ago as the speed is great.

I believe that it was Ikano that purchased DialupUSA. Anytime I want to get something done though, I call the DialupUSA numbers or I email them at support@dialupusa.net or billing@dialupusa.net and that seems to eventually take care of the problem
